Default I've just been asked to launch a new Ford Model

The Ford Model U. I just got out of a meeting charging us with the campaign to launch awareness of this new Ford model (well old model, actually). It's a pretty ugly, granola crunching car that will never be mass produced, but we're marketing it anyways. I don't even know where to begin. A car that looks like bastard child of the Aztec and a Thing and made of corn? Oh joy.

Quote:
What Is It?
Ford Model U

What's Special About It?
Like Honda's Element, the Model U offers a reconfigurable interior with little clutter and lots of possibilities. However, the Model U presents a reconfigurable exterior, too. The roof is power-retractable and the rear of the vehicle can be opened as well. The rear window retracts into the deck lid which can then be folded into the floor. Unlike the Element, or any other car, is the Model U's environmentally friendly nature. The Model U is powered by a 2.3-liter supercharged, intercooled hydrogen internal combustion engine mated to an electric transmission. In short, it's a hybrid, but a hybrid that can meet PZEV emissions standards.

Continuing the green trend is the Model U's soy-based body panels, seat foam and grease as well as corn-based tires and sunflower-seed-based engine oil. Much of the Model U can be recycled or is biodegradable so as not to further pollute the soil when its life is over.

No, launch into the market....in the form of print ads. It's just an awareness campaign, though, no actual cars or sales involved. ( @ the client )

What's with the vinyl siding? Is there a cedar option?

Yeah, I just read that... So, if it gets it by a heavy rainstorm, does it just biodegrade?

Corn tires... I wonder if they smell like Jiffy-Pop if you do a burn out.

I think it's actually corn-based.

But, it gets 45 mpg and runs off of hydrogen.

I just don't know how to position this thing. But, we've got some good ideas for cool looking ads so far.

If you live in a high rainfall area, it grows into a Hummer.

Fishguy, showing the mental quickness!

IBFordUgly

Also, showing their green ingenuity, the engine really is just a pair of sugar gliders in a hamster wheel. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
