Default I need a Spa

Hungary finally vanished off the front page. So it's time to start the smack for Spa. I'm hoping it gets interesting, so my predictions will reflect it...

1. Ralf Schumacher (on a mission...pole to flag)
2. Rubens Barrichello (fights Ralf the whole way)
3. David Coulthard (too little too late)
4. Juan Pablo Montoya (cuts back on chili dogs) (13 for Williams)
5. Michael Schumacher (drives the whole race with one hand just for fun)
6. Nick Heidfeld

BEHOLD...LET THE SMACK BEGIN!!

The above predictions may bear no resemblance to the actual results. Author makes no guarantees. No purchase necessary, all rights reserved, some assembly required, grid girls always welcome.

OK, lets get this thread going

hey, get this one!!!!!!

Jaguar axe Rahal

Bobby Rahal has parted company with Jaguar in the wake of allegations that he tried to sell driver Eddie Irvine to rivals Jordan.

The decision was taken at a crunch meeting in London yesterday. Rahal, who only joined the team last December, will return to the US to pursue other business interests, including running his ChampCar team. The American insisted the split was Ďamicableí.

Niki Lauda, Fordís Premier motorsport boss, will take over the running of the team for the immediate future.

He said: "I would like to thank Bobby for the contribution he has made to Jaguar Racing. Following this development my focus will now be 100 per cent on the Jaguar F1 project."

Rahal said he would still have dealings with his former employers.

He said: "It has been a tremendous privilege to play a key role in the formative stages of the development of Jaguar Racing. I have truly enjoyed the time I have spent with the many talented people at Jaguar Racing and I wish them all the best for the future.

"I would stress this is an amicable parting and I look forward to continuing my other business relationships with the Premier Automotive Group and Ford Motor Company in the US."

Wolfgang Reitzle, president of Fordís Premier Automotive Group, said it had been a difficult decision to make.

"Bobby and I had a very civilised meeting. It was clear to me that it was in the best interests of Jaguar Racing that this amicable solution was reached.

"I admire Bobby for his business acumen and we are looking forward to further developing the business links between Bobby, the Premier Automotive Group and Ford Motor Company in the US."

Many observers have reckoned that Rahalís days at Jaguar have been numbered ever since Lauda was recruited to oversee Jaguar in February. The American was appointed by former Jaguar chairman Neil Ressler, who retired shortly afterwards.

Although they have kept their differences private, Lauda and Rahal have had a number of disagreements, most notably over the Austrianís decision to supply Cosworth engines to Arrows.

The final straw came when it emerged that Rahal offered Eddie Irvine - as well as a £3m contribution to his wages - to Jordan. Lauda, who gets on well with Irvine, was furious that the American had tried to off-load their number one driver without consulting him first.

Those who thought asking two such strong characters to work alongside each other was a recipe for disaster have now been proved right.

Alright! Lesbo pit babe action at it's finest! She does kind of have that look in her eye doesn't she! What's the brunette on the lower right looking at? I must've been over there or something.

My pics are as follows:

1. M. Schumacher (why the hell not?!)
2. JPM (Montoya bashers can go stuff your chili dogs!)
3. Alesi
4. Ralf
5. Coldturd
6. Jaquenman Villanuevianson

Ralf
Rubens
Michael (will be in the lead, but lose concentration when his six-disc CD changer jams during the Kraftwerk remix of "Deutschland Uber Alles...)
DC
Montoya (coasting across the line when his engine lets go)
Hakkinen

That Rahal news is interesting, but not surprising.

Whoa! Maybe Michael should take the rest of the season off! He must have gotten a "Friday" car.

From Formula1.com

<<According to reports from Italy, Michael Schumacher has suffered yet another high-speed accident yesterday evening while testing in Mugello, when, it is believed, his rear wing flew off at around 280 km/h as he was beginning to brake for a bend.
Apparently, the driver is fine although the team cancelled further testing for the day until they investigated the cause of the alleged failure.

This is the second high-speed collision the German has had in just over one month, following his massive accident while testing in Monza some weeks ago. In that incident, it is speculated that his undertray broke as he went over a kerb causing a loss of downforce.

Actually Fred, I think the short haired blonde next to the brunette, (the one that looks like she is about to barf), is the one that was looking at you...

Call me foolish but on a power circut like Spa, I dont think Ferrari can run with the Beamers. I will go out on a limb and predict that this will be JPM's break through victory. All hail the chilli-dog !

The girls are looking all over the place. It was a very crappy photographer. I don't even think one of them is really looking at the camera.

i think the fact they are looking all over the place makes it a great photo, gets you thinking what the hell is going on there then.

The blonde next to the brunette, i think she is kinda cute. She looks like she would be a right laugh.

Donjuan and I were actually there and that is why they were looking all over the place. They dont know which one of us to look at next, so their eyes are darting around like a missionary's, in a pygmy infested jungle.

It was an elaborate plan executed to perfection. Justin danced around with his race suit open to the waist, distracting the girls. I then snuck up to the garage, and stole one of the Bridgestones while the girls weren't looking. None of the team was any wiser. We now have TWO wheels and tires, and we expect to of course be much more competitve here at Spa because of it.

Yes,
What you are looking at is the aftermath of me completing one of the more aggresive backspins I have ever attempted. Shortly after the backspin, I taught the girls how to "pop". At this point Donjuan was relaxing in our team tent, shinning the new tires.

Oh and here:

By the way, for those of you who are following our F1 team, now that we have two tires, I've designed a sort of axle, with a seat attached. Justin will no longer be just rolling a single tire around the circuit, he will now be IN the car. At this point he will just pull himself along with his feet, a la Fred Flintstone, as we don't have the funds for any sort of drivetrain. Maybe if someone can send me an old bicycle cog and some chain I can work something out, I've got some old pedals....

Yes we need sponsors badly. Plus we are accepting applications for a grid-girl to hold the "#23-Colman" sign while we're on the dummy grid. We offer a generous "compensation" package.

3) You only have to carry one tire, Justin & Donjuan will carry the other.
4) Free Spandex
5) Chance to get noticed with 2 of F1's newest superstars
