Default 95-99 legacy sedan suspension in a Gf/GC impreza?

I know they are both 4wheel strut, but will one transfer to the other? I was real close to getting a used set of RSK B4 bilstein suspension on ebay...

will that bolt up? they "look" the same.

they should.

i had GC struts on my 99 Legacy GT

only problem is will the struts be too tall for the GC?
will the springs?
will they work with the GC rear top mounts?

those are the questions i just dont have concrete answers to.

i know that 99 Legacy rear top mounts are WAY different from GC

hope this helps... somehow.

Hmm, if you were buying B4 RSK suspension that wouldn't fit, RSK's are BE's, those have shocks instead of macpherson struts. If you say they looked the same then it wasn't from an RSK. Maybe an RS, or GT, or GT-B or any of the variants.

The fronts will pop right in, the rears you'll have to use your top mounts on.

The struts/springs wont be too tall. It's a Legacy, not an Outback.

yet i found that the GC struts + springs on the Legacy caused rubbing issues.

it would be interesting to see it vice-versa.

ok... IT was on ebay, they were 4 bilstein struts and springs from a BG legacy. thats all I know.

Sothe fronts for my 96L imp wagon will fit, but the rears will require my tophats. thats all? hmm, maybe the bilsteins, and some STi imp wagon springs = noice....

sounds like a good setup!

Rubbing where? On the fender well or on the strut?

both, on the fender well and on the strut

again, i had GC KYB AGX's... with H&R springs

all in all, a horrible setup due to the rubbing issues.
