Default headlight booster...any good?

is this crap? He says u still use the stock bulbs....so how could it possibly make your lights brighter without blowing them???

anyone tryed anything like this?

I believe it's just a DC-DC Converter. Although it DOES work a little, it is only a small percentage, and the small amount of brightness gained does not outweigh how much of the bulb's life is cut down when using it.(but I honestly don't know what percentage of the life is lost)

It would be saying something like ... "A light that burns 10% brighter burns 1/3rd as long."

haha. You would probably be better off with a nice set of foglights, if your car doesn't have them. Or just some high-quality clear bulbs like the Philips Xtravision, etc.

....d00d...if ya wanna make yer stock lights brighter.....wire up a good harness with some 10ga wire and a relay and run 'em right off the battery.....THAT is the best answer.

Looks like junk to me. The fact that the seller is in Taiwan adds to the shadyness.
Since the Subaru lighting system uses switched grounds, the most improvement can be seen by rewiring the negative side. The positive isn't that bad, most of the voltage drop happens in the ground circuit.

yes it works. its one of the better ways of getting the most power to your lights.

that other thing is probably junk.
