Default Spring, tire, wheel question

I am gonna be putting on 17" SLs pretty soon. I did a search and it looks like the tire size I should get is 215/45/17. I am also planning on lowering with TEIN soft springs.

In doing a search, it looks like some people are getting some rubbing with the TEIN soft springs. The OZ SLs are 50 offset. Will I be ok??

Thanks in advance!!

Dave

Question

A large part of the rubbing question is unanswerable until we know what car you are putting this tuff on.

I believe that the SLs are 48 offset, and it depends on how much the Teins drop the car. People aren't getting rubbing with P1s, but they have the perfect offset for our Scoobies. It also depends on tire width. One manufacturer's 215 is wider than another's.
