He meant no harm, just a little to happy. Whatever we had a vary nice time and its over. Just wish I had brought my camera.

f- nesic? Ok, so it's cool to just break out in donuts in a grassy field? where's your house I'm sure I can find someone willing to dig up your lawn. No, it didn't happen on a person's lawn, but it did happen in a grassy area that they generally don't allow cars on. It wasn't the time or place for donuts. What are you supposed to do? how about act resposibiliy... We prolly won't be allowed to gather at the park again. Which is a huge loss, all because 1 person couldn't keep it cool. Before you go and bash a whole region... know the story & circumstances. On a more positive note, the weather was great, and I couldn't have asked for a better location. I even got to meet a few of the tri-state guys. (whose's RC truck was that... that thing flew). Well, glad you guys could make it out.
Peace -

yeah...ummm, whoever heard that they could do donuts...heard what was a joke, but appartently someone doesn't know what one of those is.

when Kris said "they will allow us on the lawn, but only 2 donuts each"

yeah, he was being sarcastic.

F' us huh.

We were at that park because one of our members knew the manager and he was doing us a favor. Personally I really enjoyed that site and would hate to see Steve embarassed because someone decided to have thier own persona rallycross.. Also I'd hate to see us lose access to that site because of the freestyle parking manuver..

We were there as part of a favor.. and we gained access to that field as part of another favor.

I just wish people could exercise some maturity and not **** that up for the rest of us.

Luckily for Steve.. and the rest of the regional members, They didn't get upset.

Just a little common sense in the future.
all I'm asking for.

I guess I've been eating too many donuts - - i cetainly didn't do any donuts - (wouldn't want to scracth my paint!)

But I did hear the NE guys saying several times - everyone gets 2 donuts in the grass

Kind of irresponsible to incite a riot by yelling fire in a crowded theater also eh??

Who cares ?? It was a great meet - had a great time - broke the double double nickel on the way up and back so I guess I'm the bad guy to

The guy with the green car is part of my crew so right or wrong i got to take his back - sorry

he was just being sarcastic about the donut thing..

think about it.. state park.. do they usually allow donuts in nice senic fields?

Anyways, it was great having everyone out for the meet, was the biggest to date.

I think the offical/unoffical count was 77 cars and a mustang, Go Dave!.

Had fun doing all the driving and meeting some new people.. I suck with names and faces. so when I see you at the next meet, it'll be just as exciting!

I broke 50K on my 2000 RS on the way back, ur Keith broke 50K on my RS.. he was gracious enough to let me drive the rare yellow WRX all the way home.. and he got to deal with my exhaust, he was having fun with it.

I'm the Funkin Donuts!

Usually I'm called a "dope" but NESIC prefers "jackass". I was there for a few hours after the "incident" yet no one called me a Jackass to my face.

Maybe these are the same type of men that only find strength in being anonomous while remaining in another state. Or pose as young girls in AOL chat rooms.

Please send personal attacks to: info@akschantz.com or invitations to an “I’ll meet you after school” get-together.

The NESIC board BRAGS that the Highlight of the Meet was to stare at a single woman in shorts walking alone in the woods.

Props the Ladies who showed up alone or with their Men. We love the enthusiasts and the support.

So my only excuse is that I could sense all the Testosterone and not enough burnt fuel(except for the Monster Truck!)

As long as I'm comfortable with my immaturity and insanity and I love Subarus isn't that enough to be invited to the NE Sausage Fest in 02?

Drive like you stole it, Eat and Do donuts, maybe a corn muffin, sticks and stones.....

TRI STATE AREA RULES!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow... this is humorous, I just can't believe that immaturity is defined as being 'cool'. You guys want us to be less elitist and be nicer to Tri-State guys, then you flip out, pull stunts, exclude yourself and call us names.. way to win us over.

Korey,

We don't want you to "be" anything. Sounds like you had a few Freudian slips there.

"Cool" is not being defined as Immaturity . It is merely being admitted along with Insanity. If you are comfortable with who you are, you don't worry about what otheres think of you.

We have 80+ cars show up, 100+ people, all with Subaru being the only thing in common.

Don't expect the i-club to be a Dating service or a Support Group.

Thanks,

Adam

No offense, but I like racing my car more than standing around and staring at it. Maybe at the next meet, set up something that has moving cars. If I stood still for 8 hours, the first thing I'd want to do is move around(even spin in circles). I wouldn't call OBSS any names. I know how well he does on a race track....He got 2nd in his class with some damn good times!

Unhappy ???

I disappointed in this post. NO ONE intened to be calling OBSS any names, but I can tell you this, if it was a NE person doing the dounuts, they would have been spoken too also, and probably more so than what happened at the meet. But what really bugs me is this post and some of the Tri-state reactions to our meet (me being from NJ originally, this bothers me more). We NESIC people open our doors (they are always open really, we just want to hang with other Subaru lovers, via the forum or a meet), and you guys show up, and then come in here and talk about how lame we are? What gives...

All I see here and on the forum are a bunch of whiny Tri-state people. All you ever do is complain? If we told you not to come you would bitch, then you do come and complain about how we interact and about what we like to do at our meets.

nitrohuffer and all you other hot heads who can't sit still and have to move around:
We in NESIC support that very much, but not at a state park with the non-racer friendly public watching our every move. If you want to move around, go to an Autocross or the track (via drag or road course, what ever you prefer). That's what we do.

Remember, if you attend one of our meets, everything you do reflects on NESIC, not you. You get to go home and laugh it up in the forum. And you wonder why no one wants to hang out.. ??

Look in a mirror, or read what you say. You might just get the picture.

Paul,

That's very interesting - No one "intended" to call me any names, but "jackass" was used to describe the green OBS owner more than once.

I have apologized on both forums, my apology was accepted, but obviously you never picked up a California Car Duster.

The Tri-State guys have my back, and I'm sure the NESIC guys would have yours if someone posted - "the jackass in the 1999 Aspen White Impreza 2.5RS". Please do not reply that you never have been a Jackass.

I have always admitted being a jackass, decades before owning a Subaru.

We might have a rougher way of describing the obvious than the NE guys and that's what stereotypes are for.

You guys said "Jackass", We said "Jackass" and because we used the F*** verbiage we are whiners.

Looks like the F'n Pot calling the F'n Kettle Black, if we are going to be stereotypical and cliché.

Adam

PS - Anyone that can beat me on a track can call me anything he/she wants!
