it's sad to hear someone in the subaru community actually consider a pepboys-style part.

Dude thats an ignorant commnet. No one has dyno tested these headers yet, let alone try them. Lets see how well they perform before we start bashing them.

I for one hope they give decent gains, don't sound like crap, and cost half of what Cobb costs.

I hate to burst your bubble but OBX is making some quality parts now they even make OEM optional parts for Scion. The Header has a lifetime warranty, it's full stainless steel, and costs less than half of what the Cobb header does. Here's a pic:

They even make a copy of the Quaife front LSD for the Subaru 5spd that has a lifetime warranty as well for under $500.

Do you mean "Does it bolt to the stock exhaust?". If so then I would think it does since it has a cat-delete pipe just like the Cobb.

I ordered it yesterday. I am gonna take my chances with a "pepboys-style part". I post up a review when i get it installed and get a couple runs thru it.

Am I seeing things, or do these look like unequal length, rather than equal length, headers?

for reference... Cobb's uber expensive header:

OBX does make some decent parts... I know people that have been running OBX exhausts on their cars for quite some time...
