I stand by ur side Dugie....I'm all about having a stock 2.0L as well as the stock clutch and flywheel and blowing down the track...we'll see how my GT30R works out on the ver8 motor....pray for me to hit...11.2-11.4 with 120+mph

Sure I'd do better on my Proxes T1R's with new clutch and (tuned for) 116

Good luck with the stock clutch holding that kinda power. Best I was able to get was a 12.51 and as soon as I went bigger turbo...........Slllliiiiiiiipppppppp

i ran a 12.72 @ 105.5 with a vf22. full interior. 17s. pump gas and no motor/tranny work. and a HORRIBLE tune.

stock USDM ej205, or stock JDM ej207?

stock USDM ej205 = many people have done 11's, some have done 10's,

stock JDM ej207 = many have gone deap into 9's, and I think some in the 8's.

Oh, I didn't specify motor.

Mine is/was a EJ205 with stock heads. You had me listed as a 207. The 207 is going in now. I hope it will be faster........

JDM Ver8, stock top mount, stock VF37 (no helper spring = suck on VF37)
Ecutek retune, 2.25" Downpipe, 3" catless back in a 2001 2.5RS

Hopefully alot faster next time I run - debating on a Green or a Red sized turbo now

I know what you mean about the helper spring. I ended up springing my VF36 shut @ 18 psi. How much boost were you running? Drop that downpipe (stock one?) and get a frontmount and that twinscroll will really shine!!

16 tapering to 13.5psi, switched from a USDM boost silenoid to a USDM STi and now it holds ~15psi to redline

I was pondering doing all the things you mentioned - but I think I'll skip that and go to either a Green or a Red. We'll see...
