Default 06 USDM leveling switch on 02 JDM HIDs?

Will this work? The switch has 5 pins inside, and I don't see any instructions for a 5 pin setup??

Anyone have any clues? Im guessing it should work with the leveling motors? this is a brand new switch, like the oem one for the 2006 sti.

I have an '06 STI and ordered an '05 switch to replace it. The '06s don't have illuminated numbers like the '04-'05 do.

So, if the 06's don't have illumination, wouldn't that be the 6th pin? Meaning that no illumination, there is no pin needed.

The '06s have illumination of the headlight symbol, but not the individual number selections like the '04-'05.

So is the only difference between the 04/05 and the 06/07 switches is that the numbers are illuminated?

This.
And no the difference is not the illuminated numbers. 06-07 work with a different signal. On 06-07, one control wire with varying voltage corresponding to desired position, and bugeyes and 04-05 sti have 4 individual wires, one for each position. Completely different operation.
