Didn't Elementuning provide you with a base map with those already set?

On my car, I use 17.2 and 88.4... no secrets here, I was just curious if you had a base map from Phil, because if you didn't there might be something else wrong, thats all.

When you say its not working properly, what are you seeing? Stalling, or reving too high on startup, or something along those lines, or something else?

Yeah, I'm just stressing, because this is a new V7 motor swap that I wired for AVCS myself, so there could be a million different things going on. Mine was alot higher than 17.2 on my base map, making the iac really open up. I just wanted to make sure I didn't have another prob like you said. I thought my IAC might be bad and I didn't want to make tuning corrections to fix a faulty part. Thanks for the numbers Darth

FWIW, mine is currently set to 20 and 90, but that is on a '99 2.5RS, so your mileage may vary.

I've seen a few problems with the ISC valves on a couple of car I've tuned. One had the ISC valve gasket/o-ring installed out of its grove. This air leak required me to run 4 as the min duty but once fixed we increased the min pwm duty to 18.

On another car it just needed to be cleaned but this also had me using 8 to idle the car low enough.

On my own personal car I had the tan and black one-way valve attached to the fuel tank purge control solenoid valve go bad. Since my car was already tuned I new it was something mechanical. Sure enough the valve was damaged and leaking so I tossed it in the garbage and just eliminated the purge since I'm not sure those valves are reliable at 30+ psi.

One other thing to check is the max vacuum. I'm tuning a car currently that had a vacuum leak which I didn't know about so in the end the Max Vacuum was set to close to the idle vacuum resulting in a high idle after the vacuum leak was fixed. Raising the Max Vacuum to 610 mm/hg and normal idle returned.

Thanks,
Phil
