I need the number for the 2002-2003 JDM running light bulb.
Searched, but to no avail.
Thanks.

Running light? Do you mean parking light?

Well its the light that is in the upper most corner, little bulb. It goes on when you turn the column one click (so that that, cluter, and tail lights light up)

Ah, parking lights... Sorry, I don't know for sure what the bulb is. Is it that difficult to pull it out? I know on the '04-'05s, you have to remove the whole headlight assembly to get to that light. Same for the '02-'03s?

Have you checked your owner's manual? Mine's not handy, but I'm pretty sure there's a list of bulbs in there.

Its tough to get at, but difenatly accessable without taking the light out.
It wont be in the owners manual because its the JDM(aftermarket) headlights.

According to that, it's a 168, unless the JDM version uses different bulbs.

yes I am positive. I have the JDM HIDs and that is in mine.

If it has a bluish tint then it is an aftermarket bulb. The stock one is the regular yellowish white light.

Just look at the bulb. You can easily see the shape of the bulb by looking at it from the front. Also the passenger side one is not that hard to get out.

It must be an aftermarket bulb, because it has a blueish tint to it. I took the bulb out and brought it to autozone, napa, ect... and they all told me without a part # they cant get it. So do you know where I can get a set of bulbs (with blueish tint) that fit?

Piaa, APC etc make them. Most stores have a display behind the counter with all the different color/types of bulbs. The guys you talked to apparently didn't want your business cause its a very standard bulb.

After looking around it looks like its the 168 wedge type bulb.

If you have something other than that then you have another problem. Ive had/sold 5 sets of the JDM projectors (HID and non-HID) and they have all been the same. The only non-standard bulb in these housings is the turn signal. That can be sourced from only a few import parts stores or online.

I just did a comparo. I've been running 192 bulbs for front parking lights (I use clear instead of amber since they look yellow against the HIDs anyway.) I got a pack of 168s and 158s and all 3 are so close in brightness, that at more than 10 feet from the car, there is no real difference. 168 did seem just a tad brighter up close.

Just my completely non-scientific test.
