Default My goals for this car

Hey everyone, I got my turboback exhaust completed the other day along with an uppipe, I was just wondering the following:

Kind of a weird question, but I want my car to sound like a JET at WOT, or anytime before. Would I need a bigger turbo (what i'm guessing), or a custom tune? How would I come across for this?

I have a 05' WRX, exact mods:

Invidia uppipe + downpipe, catless
HKS carbon-ti catback exhaust
Subaru's turbo gauge? =D

I was thinking of doing a Cobb tuning next, either stage 1 or 2, but i'm trying to keep my car as a daily driver, for now

Any suggestions? I mainly want my car to have a jet-like sound.

Only things I can think of would be intake and equal length headers.
Of course, a bigger turbo never hurts.

Sounds like you need a swap to a Miller cycle engine.

I thinking hes talking about the turbo whine noise, in which case a broken turbo would do the trick.

It's funny that you referenced a "jet" sound because I know you didn't quite mean it like that but I heard exactly that sound from two cars at a track event. No, it wasn't the turbo spooling either but rather some type of exhaust they had on the car that made it sound like that.

It seriously sounded like a jet. It was a STi and a RX7 that had the exhaust... it was pretty crazy.

Ya I know what he's talking about too.

I hear it all the time when watching rally races (from the cockpit) and on Gran Turismo.

If you want a jet sound get rid of your SUBARU and get an RX-7.

yea, i'm not going for bling bling or anything, i just love that sound cause it brings out more of the "personality" of the car.
