Exclamation Gauge Lighting

have any of you guys ever pruchased those reverse glow gauage light kits for your cars... How did they come out? i'm sick of the teal i want red but don't want to risk the sanding mod. i heard it can really **** up your gauge.

Another question is it hard to take off needles to do this gauge change?

taking off the needles is WAY more dangerous/potentially damaging to your gauges than the sanding mod. i'd do the sanding mod if i were you.

and this really belongs in the interior/exterior mod/care forum.

I thought those reverse glow gauge kits just slide over the needles? I know the one i put into my 02 Cavalier was like that.

You can screw it up still if you don't know what you are doing.

Do the sanding mod as that is a currently proven way of doing it
