Default A simple question about wheels

Will 2002 US-spec 16" WRX wheels fit a 2000 Legacy GT? Is the offset identical? Are the wheel widths identical?

Sorry if this seems elementary to some of you but I've been having a bit of a time finding details about the factory wheels for both the GT and the WRX.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes they will fit. PERIOD.
The offset is +53 IIRC and the width is only 6.5" They should be with in 2mm of the OEM GT wheels.

PS. Try doing a search. I tried for you but the $*#&# server was too busy with all these new WRX owners on the board.

I second what Tim said although I recall all 6.5" wide wheels running 55mm offset. In any case, they'll be the same.

Done it! Got WRX 16x6.5" wheels and tires on my fiancee's 2002 Legacy. Looks better on the Legacy than the WRX that is for sure.

I put the wheels/tires from my new WRX on my traded-in Legacy. Looked great! I was surprised at how much they changed the look of the car.

Hey tahrndt, peace, man. All of those new WRX owners are creating the buzz that will, hopefully, convince Subaru that the U.S. market wants higher performance cars, which could lead to a hot rod Legacy. It's all about the Scooby love, man. I wave to everybody who's driving one. Some wave back, some don't, but that's okay.
