the one at mach v (fastwrx.com) is the autospeed part so they are exactly the same. I say order from mach v, they are near me so I have done business with them many times. great guys and very professional.

Thanks for the mentions!

We stock four styles: WRX/aluminum, WRX/black, STi/aluminum, STi black. Of those I have all but the STi/aluminum in stock -- here. We ship in-stock stuff within one day.

In Dulles, no less!
I bet you guys spend too much time and money at Allsports

I was curious on these - the WRX-engraved versions are "squared" at the bottom corners while the STI-engraved are angled?. I was going to order one for the 05 wagon and wanted to make sure.

Yes, that's the way we stock 'em, to avoid having to buy/stock 18 million varieties. The squared bottom one perfectly matches the 02-03 car, while the "slanted" style matches the 04-05. You CAN fit either type on either car; the photo here actually shows the "square" style on the newer car. It looks fine, IMHO.

I ordered mine from Autospeed as I wanted it to match my bumper. Looks great. I would get theirs if you have an 05.-

so you dont stock a "WRX" slant-type version for the 04-05?

Not currently. Stocking two colors x two shapes x two imprints = eight different SKUs to try to keep in stock. Hey, if there's demand, we'll do it, but so far it hasn't been a big issue.

I'd like to find a black one that has no lettering on it...

Flipping over the current one's isn't the answer, cause the back side isn't as finished as the front.

Unless I haven't seen all that are available.

I like phattey's idea, too. I was THINKING of flipping one, but I really would prefer the black slanted one. Maybe I'll just cave and get it with the lettering. Even the Mrs. likes it.

I would recomend ordering from machv. I have ordered many things from them and it has always been great. I have only had two small problems with the things I ordered and both times they went far above and beyond what i would expectd from anyone. The first time it was out Machv's control. The second time I had a problem with some lug nuts I ordered and when i explained that a person tried to jack my rims a few days before they overnighted the right lugs to me. Most vendors take days just to give you a refund or answer questions but machv is alway on the ball and straight forward with whats going on with your order. My only complaint is sales tax

Watch out! I'm a lightweight, and the power-to-weight ratio of the go kart is very good with me on board!
