Default Element Hydra: '05STi ALS/DCCD ?'s

Does the element for the '05 STi's provide Anti-lag with the DBW while maintaining the stock DCCD mapping/function. I think it does, but i wanted to confirm it. I've tried emailing phil without much success. Thanks all

Louis

The Anti-lag option available for the Element Hydra EMS via one of our accessory harnesses is a drag race only anti-lag system. This only works when vehicle is not in motion to build boost.

If you want a true rally style anti-lag system you will need some sort of solenoid controlled air valve in your manifold (I have a customer running this on his Hydra). This could then be controlled via the Element Hydra which would also trigger the anti-lag mapping.

The DCCD would still be functional but possibly confused

By the way If you're Louis from Dentsport I replied to a Nasioc email on 10/11. Check your PMs if this is the same Louis but I'll be happy to send the email again if you didn't receive it.

Thanks,
Phil

Phil yes i am, i guess the email must have been lost in the shuffle, terribly sorry. That is good to know. I will try and give you a call on monday and talk to you about availability.

The anti-lag is the key feature if the dccd can't be kept or is 'confused' then that's fine we can run an aftermarket dccd controller seperate from the setup. I just don't want to have to switch over to throttle cable/different ecu's/harness etc.

Thanks for your time phil. I'll be in touch.

Louis
