Default Problem installing Accessport Please Help

I just bought a used ap. i am installing and get to step where it says initializing ecu.... then its supposed to go to progress (percent). but instead it goes back a step to " turn car fully off and back on" then it goes back to initializing ecu... then same thing over and over....

This happen to anyone else... i just sent an email to the guy i bought from to make sure its definitely unmarried

I don't know what the symptom would be, but did you connect the green test connectors under the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel?

Yup - sounds like you may not have connected the init (white) connector and the green (test) connectors.

In addition you need to connect the init connector by the green connectors as well and then follow the directions EXACTLY as stated. Read your instructions and double check every step you make. Turn off your radio, air, everything.

It doesn't sound like an unmarrying issue...it sounds like the test connector or the init connectors.
