Question Sti cluster into 02 RS?

I found a fairly good deal on a GDA v7 sti gauge cluster. Its Japanese, so the gauge reads km/h which is ideal, because my car is Canadian. It reads a maximum of 180 km/h as does my current gauge, so this seems like it should be a good fit. I am just wondering if this is gonna be a simple plug and play operation, or if there maybe some problems with doing this. Thanks guys.

I know a V8 cluster requires you to cut wire B28, I dont know if the V7 requires the same.

I have the JDM STI cluster in my 02 WRX. It took 7 minutes to install. It should be plug-n-play. Just as long as you car is a 5 speed and the cluster is for a 5 speed, or automatic and automatic...whatever you have. Good luck!
