Having a argument with a 350z budy of mine who says that I won't trap over 106 mph? Anyone here with around 300 whp or just above with some trap times?
Thanks.. it's winter here and I can't find out formyself until track seaon..

What type of dyno? What does a stock STi generally put down on that dyno?

just basing this off a guess i would say 105-106mph is doable in a 310whp STi considering most STi's would put down anywhere in between 230-250whp stock.

i'd say 110 mph+. my car (in the previous owner's hands) put down 260 on a dyno that reads the STi stock around 230-235, and he drove it to a 12.7@111.

you could get over 106. if you are betting him id take that bet but make sure you get like 3 tries for this bet if you dont think you can drive very well.

but id say you could get 109 at least

That is a really good trap speed for only 30-35whp over stock!

103mphish stock at sea level, I got 104-105mph with turboback no tuning, so in good weather I'd put 300whp at around 107mph. I'd like to see a timeslip for that 12.7@111 run.

Only weight reduction could yield that trap with so little power.

No, actually the car was heavier than stock when I made that pass.

Info on the car: http://home.comcast.net/~IMPREZvWRX2/

The 265 was put down on a Mustang Dyno, SAE corrected, at near sea level (yay, NJ) The same car put down 303 on a Dynojet with 2 lbs less boost and less tuning.

i've got about that depending on dyno (stage 2 AP + tune) and my traps are anywhere from 104-107.8

You mixed that up a little. My buddy's STI put down 325 on TXS's Dynapack, then put down 263 on this particular Mustang Dyno. I went on immediately after him and put down 265. Not sure what a stock STI would put down on it.
