Default Can't Find Bulb #...HELP!

I just got off the phone with two dealers and neither of them could find a bulb number for the 05 wrx, front directional. My manual also does not state this for some reason. I read in some other thread that the rear directional bulb is the same as the front except the back one is amber. This is not true for me. My rear bulb is a 1156 amber, a round socket bulb, while my front is a wedge type bulb. Does anyone know the bulb #? I am trying to find whatever the front bulb is, in amber. but i need the bulb number first.

By directional, do you mean "turn signal?" I've got 7440s.
Your rears are round sockets? Is it a wagon?

05 wrx? rear bulb is not an 1156......

front blinker is 1156, rear bulbs are all 7440 or 7443 depending if ther are dual filaments or not.

i have a wagon, maybe it is different. My rear is definately 1156, i already have spares and they do fit. although my front looks like it has a wedge type bulb, not a round socket. I went to autozone this morning and they told me it is 7440. So i have my answer.
