Default Turbo XS FMIC question

Hey guys i wanna purchase the turbo xs fmic very soon, ive heard rumors that only the turbo xs short ram intake will fit with it. The reason i ask is cuz i got a nice deal for a blitz sus intake and wanna buy it but, if it doesnt fit with the turbo xs fmic then i rather not buy it and get a turbo xs short ram intake.

Get the TXS ram intake and save yourself the headache.... I went with the AEM pod and had to modify the help out of it to 1) get the MAF in the right place and 2) to make it fit with the TXS FM piping.

Blitz won't fit, and why would u want a filter made out of steel mesh?? what're u gonna filter out, big rocks and leaves?? i'd Leave SUS filters for race applications.

I have the txs cooler and I like it but the fact that no CAI works sucks. At least I havent found a CAI that works.
I have the AEM short ram and I will cut and weld to convert to cold air soon.

ive seen a car on here running a k&n typhoon and the txs fmic. a little bit of cutting to make it picture perfect was necessary i believe.

I have the blitz on my car but I have the APS FMIC. Its pipes are even larger. You can make it fit if you want but it will not be in the original spot. I might not see this thread again for a while but if you really really want I can get you a pic with my cameral phone. PM me an email adress if you would like a pic. I can show you what I did to make a fit.

Nothing sounds like the SUS!

yeah, you might as well get the TXS intake and be done with it...works great anyway.

Just wait for nicer FMIC's to be released for the 06 style. I have only seen the Perrin on the 06 but to me it just looks hideos. I love perrin stuff but seeing those couplers and hose clamps just looks nasty. Wait till something comes out that fills up that area better or get something custom done.

Musta been ALOT of cutting, I tried everything. Decided to ditch it for the TXS rather than jimmy it up. I would like to see a picture of the finished product, no way its pretty.
