Impressive! I think it may take a 3.0 liter, reinforced, STI engine to make that much power.

subscribe + popcorn.

id like to see what the dyno says w/ the smoothing on 5 not 3.(yes im a correction nazi) the BV sti makes 700whp/tq+ on a 2.6 block not 2.8. that turbo is overkill IMO, 3k worth of powerband and a 2wd dyno.

lets see a *COMPLETE* modlist of the car. and while your at it how bout a datalog. i know neither of these will show up in this thread. just thought id ask.

It doesn't get full boost until 6400rpm.

My N/A Subaru XT6 with 145hp stock makes more torque to the wheels than that car up to about 4600rpm.

Nice numbers though! I have to say something. Of course that car will kill 99% of the cars on this board. Oh well!

Reminds me of a supra dyno chart with the torque and hp both going vertical like that. Doesnt even make over 100 lb/ft until after 4k rpms, maybe nitrous wouldnt be a bad thing.

I'm not pinning this on EVO owners, but most diehard car nuts.

You realize that most people who bought houses a even a few years ago in certain parts of the country have had their houses appreciate 100's of K in the last few years. It is a simple matter for people who used their money to invest in real estate to sell and end up with hundreds of thousands of dollars. This could no doubt purchase a vehicle with quite exceptional performance, or modify a vehicle (such as an EVO) to perform quite exceptionally.

I have no doubt there are hundreds of people on this board in this situation. So why don't they take their earned return and go crazy with building a 9 second EVO? Perhaps they have a reason. It is quite silly to see little boys spending all their hard earned hourly wage cash on car goodies.

But it is even more silly to see little boys finding pieces of information which is completely irrelevant to themselves, such as http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthr...hreadid=147303 and pretending like it makes anyone with a life give a ****.

Very funny commentary. Hence the boy-racer image of the EVO/WRX STi. I know that I, for one, regret backing out of a potential home purchase 3 years ago, when I was approved for the mortgage. What did I buy instead of the house? A WRX! Idiot! I still smack myself when I think about it...
