Sweet price on a nice piece of hardware. What application would one need for a 2005 WRX with factory short shifter installed?

Do you offer bushings as well?

Thanks

I'm not 100% familiar with the factory short shifter. This piece will replace the stock shift lever completly and the shifter linkage then bolts to it just like the stock shifter normally would have it. We do not have shifter bushings.

There are more pictures of the shifter in our vendor announcement thread which can be viewed here

I'm assuming my GC8 stock knob will screw on, and my stock bushings will be fine?

One of our Legacy GT Customers was very kind and did a writeup on the short shifter, here's the link for those interested in seeing what it takes to install the shifter.

Can anyone verify if the +1 shifter is indeed shorter than or not shorter than the factory short shifter option at its shortest setting?

From my knowledge the factory short shifter option is not adjustable and is roughly 15-25% shorter than stock. Our short through shifter is adjustable so you have the option of a completely stock throw or a throw that is 60-65% shorter at it's max

Gah! did Momo really revert back to the logo that matches the WRX steering wheels or is that an old knob pic? (Grumpily peers at the mismatched logo on the knob in his garage.)

Wolfen42 - Momo switched back to the other style, it now says Momo and then Italy really small under the momo.

subUrbanAuthority - Our shifters are fully adjustable. For the WRX/GC/Legacy GT they are all adjustable from stock up to 65%shorter. I believe the Kartboy is around 30-35% short than stock off the top of my head. The STi 6 speed shifter is not only throw adjustable but you can also set the height of the knob without affecting throw.

Swine - please check out this post in the vendor announcement thread for all details on the shifter

If you would like to order one you can paypal sales@subydude.com and in the comment mention the shifter model (GC for your application) and also mention this is for the nasioc.com special of $89 shipped.

The lever is right around the same length as stock. As you adjust the throw with the 5 speed shifters this will also raise/lower the height. Here is a comparison shot next to a stock lever

Yes we are still offering this deal for all nasioc.com members. We are currently out of stock of shifters, however we have a very big order that will be arriving on the 14th. So we will fill all backorders and have plenty of shifters in stock for future orders.

6 speed STi shifters we still have in stock.
