Talking Yay! 20mm sway bar installed!

I can't believe what a difference it makes! Everything feels tighter on the car now.

I bought the FHI 20mm rear sway bar (20450FA040) with the appropriate bushings (21047GA671 x 2) from the dealership.

Then I almost put myself in the ditch trying to avoid a HUGE-ASS porcupine during my test drive. I'm talking at least a foot tall and 1.5 feet long. BIG!

watch out dude....always take it easy around the corner....

u will find out more diff....like when u hit the brake around the corner for some reason etc....will be way diff than stock....

last time i almost spun around when i dunno the car has swapped to Cusco 21mm sway bar....take a corner to test the tire and someone walked out....as soon as i hit the brake the car starts to oversteer....(just like my Civic....dunno why....probably the back's strength is better than the front)....

of course i have made it but i am glad i got 18mm for Joyce....hehe...

On a related note: What's the little plastic box in the rear passenger's side corner with hoses coming out of it right by the sway bar mount?

I think people have said it's something along the line of "fuel vapour purge" or something like that. No clue. It's just a box that I don't mess with as far as I'm concerned.

I believe Keiho is correct! It is a fuel overflow/"fuel vapour purge".

Be careful and enjoy your new toy! Take it to auto X and really learn the new driving limits and characteristics. Tire pressure will also make a big difference (front/rear). With 20mm the sube will be very neutral handling... just don't toss it into a corner and then brake or it will come around!! (this from personal, on track, experience! - I even think kgb/Chris caught it on tape)

I am just wondering what if you set it at 22mm or 24mm? I have the whiteline adjustable sway bar... I only set it at 20mm.

Will I be sliding around if I set it at 22mm or 24mm?

Well, what are the rest of your suspension mods?

If stock, I think 20mm will be just fine. Any bigger and your car will turn from neutral to an oversteering beast. Of course if you can handle it sure...but remember, snap oversteer is nothing to be laughed at.

Yeah I only have the sway bar, the rest is stock. I think 20mm is good too.
