Default Perfect Power Tuning Question (01 RS)

I recently put in 93 octane now instead of 89. I got a new map from rallitek for my PP for the 93 octane. I was running the car hard today and it just didn;t seem to get the power i should be getting. When i put the bridge in which it runs off stock ecu the car seems to be just as smooth/powerful. The PP running seems a little quicker but nothing noticeable enough for me to feel. Anyone have any maps they have for 93 octane on a 00-04 rs?

any input is appreciated. thanks in advance.

Did you reset the ECU after installing the map?

No I did not reset the ecu. I didn't think that was needed since the PP is a piggyback and changes the the signals. But, I will try that out today and see if that works.

how do you reset the ecu? I've been told to disconect the battery and wait for like 5 min with the lights on to make sure the electrical charge is completely gone, then just reconnect and start it up. I did that once but I'm not sure it did anything. I just got the entire exhaust done and have an intake and a crank pulley and it didnt change a thing. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

i reset the ecu and it is still doing the same thing....my brother drove my car and we basically have the same mods except i have a high flow cat and the PP and he said that it felt a little more powerful but his reaction wasn;t great either....

seems like there is still something hindering the car from its potential

There isn't that much more power to be had from the stock program on RSs. Depending on the year you probobly benifit from a little more timing and a little leaner fuel with the PP, send me a PM i'd be interested in exactly what maps they are running in there.
