World One Time Attack STi goes to PIR!!!

Hey guys, i've been down at PIR (Portland Int Raceway) every single weekend since the car has been back running. We are trying to get this car setup for the Ultimate weekend racecar that is daily driven. So far we've had some pretty good results. We were running without the Festival Turns in the front straight this past weekend, and i was reaching speeds of 150+mph. Well anyways, here are some pics of the day.

Nice pics, the track looks like fun. I had my STi up to 125+ at one of our local tracks, and it was suprisingly stable.

what size tire on the Advan Rgs? rubbing?

Well i try not to look down too much doin 150mph down a straight away, i'm focusing on braking points and cars around me. Its a lot of fun though, with better brakes i could go deeper into braking, which would help me greatly.

I'm running Advan A048 tires on the RG's. They are 245/40/17, and the car does not rub unless i hit curbing in high 4th gear.

Good stuff. I like to see cars built to be driven.

You guys should enter this car in the BMI American Touge 2 showdown. They are currently doing a casting call and I am sure it would be a worthy competitor.
