Default i have a question for the hardcore ferrari experts....

was it only the 1984 model year testarossa that had the single side mirror that sat up kind of high? that was so hot!

My families old Geo Metro only had one side mirror on the drivers side!

AWSOME!

No, it was a specially made car for Miami Vice only.

it was the special lightweight "Tuner Ready" model designed so more enthusiasts could buy into the ferrari marque.

changes like removing the passenger side mirror took almost $250 off the MSRP of a regular testarossa, and got it one step closer to track use by shaving off a whopping 17.6oz from the curb weight.

Another feature typical for early Testarossas was the single wing mirror mounted on the A-pillar. When revised traffic rules recalled for a second mirror, the position of the driver's side mirror was relocated to the more common position at the bottom of the A-pillar. Very little changed through the Testarossa’s production life, which lasted until 1991.

Well, my Google research said the single mirror was only on the very early models. I think it looks soooooo good. When I get rich and get my 1980's car collection, the single mirror Testarossa will definitly be part of the collection
