Cool Kids love the Baja!

I teach school. We had an activity today that required transportation without buses and so I had students ride with me in the Baja. They called it "Awesome" and "Cool" among other things. At one point we had to stop at a crosswalk where a bus load of students from another school were crossing. I received a number of "Thumbs Up" from students crossing the walk. Once we were back at school the kids were looking out the window ( I park directly in front of my 2nd floor classroom window) and were ranting and raving over the Baja. It was quite comical.

Maybe we should have had kids do the advertising for Subaru instead of the marketing department!

Well you know it's odd.

I like mine, I'll admit it's got looks that may not be for many folks, but I'll be darned, I get A LOT of compliments from all ages of folks on it.

I'm not sure why it does not sell better other than the fact the initial offering with no turbo was deemed sorely lacking in power.

Little kids love the Baja, but fall head over heels in love with the Brat. They don't even make a connection until I tell them it's the first Baja. My grandsons 3 and 6 like the Brat best. Could be the color or the rear seats.

I have had the Baja and Brat side-by-side at shows and the Brat wins with kids, I let them sit in it... it's a car they can touch!... and it's their size. We have so many old farts that are so protective of their cars and freak when they see kids come around them...

Now, the Baja wins with adults... I let them sit in it, show them all the cubbies... fold down seats... switchback... tailgate integrity... I'm pretty darn sure I sold at least 3 since showing this past spring! Hey S-u-b-a-r-u! Wake up!!!!! People love this trucklet!!! What is their line of thinking for not actively advertising it??? Makes no sense.
