Angry Ahhhhhhh, car scratched, what to do???????

I came home and washed the car when I noticed two big scratches on the left side of the rear bumber. They are probably 8 and 6 inches in length and deep. Not just surface scratches. What can I do to get rid of them?? How much will a shop charge to "touch it up". It is the WR blue pearl and I heard that it's hard to find a good match paint, and subarus touch up paint is to light. I'm PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna go hit the heavy bag now.....

Body shop: $50-$60 is my guess.

You could try to get in there with some wax and work it really good. It at least would make it a little less noticable.

If it's more than a surface scratch try 350.00. A stupid woman nicked my bumper on the highway a few weeks ago. Went to several body shops. All of them said around 350.00. The whole bumper has to be painted in order for it to match properly.

It's more expensive for metallic paints. Your baby was black. His is Rally blue.

<FONT face="Comic Sans Ms">...but rally blue PEARL. Pearlized finishes are just the same as metallic when it comes to repainting. They have to sand out the existing paint and do the whole panel or spend forever trying to blend it properly.

Well, I had (and have again) the same problem with my BRP RS... Cost about $300 to be repainted at the dealership.
