Default Where do I take My subie for service?

I'm in the North-burbs of chitown and I want to know if you guys can recommend a good place to get service done on my STi.

It needs a 30k service and a bad strut replaced (driver side)

thanks

--Depeche

edit:

I suppose I should elaborate... I was gonna take it to SOS where I bought the car, but lately it seems there are some horror stories associated with them. I don't want to risk my baby to a shop that has a bad reputation.

Go to Grand Subaru, unless you like dealing with parts stolen from your car while its at SOS.

Don't go to SOS without x 3

NOW you tell me....

if my CD changer and/or my fogs are gone I am going to be beyond upset.

Beyond that, referencing my post in the N/A forum, I pretty much verbatim wrote here what I wrote in the online service appointment request form.

You know what the repair order says?

"C/S THROTTLE RESPONSE HAS A VERY NOTICABLE DELAY"

Not even close to everything I am concerned about, nor did the service writer focus on my main concern! It also took me calling them to get a status on my car, only to find out they were still waiting for a cruise control switch after already being in the shop for three days. I also had to tell the service writer that I didn't have a throttle cable - he didn't know it was drive-by-wire. Not a good taste for my first real service visit.

Update - car is back, not fixed.

I don't intend to go back to SoS anytime soon, the lack of communication between tech, service advisor, and customer is frustrating.

If you feel like going for a little drive, Lynwood Motors on the south side of the city is good :-)

Ask for Frank, and tell him Billy sent you if you end up going that way

(the place doesn't look the nicest, but it is a small family owned dealership, and their top priority is the customer)

Thanks for the offer, but I was thinking Grand (1st choice) or maybe Roto.

I'm about 5 minutes from SoS... so much for convenience.

I can do it for you without all the b.s. labor charges such as "adjusting and lubing throttle cable and linkage", umm anyone wanna tell me where the throttle cable is on an USDM STI?

and people think we are overpriced...yeah our 30k is about $60 cheaper from the start then everyone gets 10% off the price

I usually do a 30k for about 1/2 of what the dealer charges.
