dis connect neg bat term, press on brake. Iirc this reverts back to your stock map with ECUtek, to get back to the tuned map you must hit the rear defrost button while WOT (you can do this with the car inthe ON position i believe, don't have to be driving it WOT)

Woooops... incorrect..
If you flash the ECU with Ecutek the stock map is gone. Ecutek has a switchable feature for boost maps that is activated by the WOT and Defrost button. This does not switch the entire map. If you reset the ECU by removin the batt cable you are still on the tuned map. Only your AFR learning and Ignition timing learning is reverted to 0 Clark |

Yep, he's wrong. Also, keep in mind that (and I speak from experience here) sometimes the old disconnect the battery trick doesn't reset the ecu. I did that once (because I didn't feel like busting out my laptop) and it turns out it never reset. I later retested to make sure and after reading the IAM with my laptop... sure enough, it didn't reset with the battery disconnected. So every time I need to reset it now I just do it with software and then verify it afterwards to make sure.
