Question lost of boost, back to 11 psi

my 2004 is tuned on the ecutek system and was running fine. i was boosting 18 psi that is what it was tuned at. all of a sudden it went back to the stock 11 psi and that is all it is reaching. i cant see any holes in any hoses but ive only check on top like the hoses going to the turbo, wastegate and boost controller. what else can this be. i tried doing the reseting by unplugging the neg battery cable and holding the break for about a min, ive never known how long you have to hold it for but still nothing. please give me some ideas this is very frustrating thanks guys....

Erm. Stock boost is NOT 11psi.

if you are only seeing 11psi, you have something wrong mechnaically.

There's a low and high boost mode with ecuteks. I forget exactly how to change it, but that might be something you'd wanna look into.

peace

What he said. Could be on low boost mode. Alternatively the solenoid has quit working. This is a common problem for the stock part. You could try cleaning it(I didn' have any luck) or replace it with stock or the Perrin EBCS. Both are under $100. Good luck.

I'm having a similar problem.

I checked my solenoid (i have the GM Solenoid mod, but it's basically the same) and it seems to be working fine (it clicks when given power from a 9v battery, and it blocks the right ports ).

I found the ECUTek is actually sending the wrong signal to the solenoid... didn't hear anything about that low boost thing... i wonder if that's my problem.

Just wondering though, is it possible the solenoid could be switching correctly but still be broken somehow?

I think to switch boost modes, ya push the throttle in all the way with the ignition on but the engine off and hit the defrost button. I could be wrong though.
