Default 4eat shift knob

Anybody swap out a Forester AT shift knob?

I like the joy stick looking one Razo puts out but question whether it will work on the 4eat. The button on top vs the side mount on the stocker is probably a problem.....but maybe not.

In any matter I'm looking for some feedback other than the leather one Subaru already offers as an option...help!

Dude, I have been looking for an aftermarket AT Shift knob since 1999!!! Most of the one's I tested out didnt' work as the Sube's AT shifter is being pulled up rather than pushed down as on most Hondas, mitsus, acura's, etc. Unfortunately those are the cars that most aftermarket AT shifters are designed for. I haven't tested out the Razo's cause I didn't feel like forking over $100 for just a shifter. Interestingly though I recently saw an AT shifter from Levoc that was supposedly Sube specific, but it came with an overdrive button ( no big deal, wire it to be a fog light switch or something). I can't remember the dealer's name off the top of my head. I'll post again once I find out. It is a HUGE pain in the boo-tay!!

Good Luck
Mike

Default Nopi.com

they have the Levoc shifter I was talking about. follow the link below
http://www.nopionline.com/Universal....tom%20Interior

click on shift knobs, then levoc and then click on "ghost" for a list of availble knobs. there is more than one page so keep checking

Oh and they also have colored gauge faces available. Not great, but the first ones I have seen.

Maverick17 thanks for the link...however I still have a problem about the top button thingy. Looks like the button will be pushing the mechanism down rather than lifting it up.

Also could not get more than one page and could not find the guage faces.

Anyway...thanks for the good input...anyone else ? :
