Cobb AP VF30 VS AXLRBACK
I currently have a full 3 inch turbo back with the VF30 map I also have a catless uppipe...
My axle back is way too loud (BPM TWISTER) I was thinking of changing just the axle back would I see any degradation in performance if I go to a 2.5 inch axle back? like an STI axle back for example? Or should I really stay with a 3inch axleback? PS I have no cats

It shouldn't make that much of a difference.
But, you would have to replace your midpipe with one that tapers off to a 2.5. I think the STi axleback is a 2.25. |

Crap...I thought the STI axleback was 2.5...cause I was just going to weld a 3" flange with a piece that tappers down to 2.5" cause the STI axleback is about an inch longer anyway...so I was gonna cut not matter what

The sti axle back is 2.5'' I got one on my car now, I also Had my car tuned on a 3'' exhaust, and now run a sti axle back, to tell you honestly not much difference, I still walk on many STI's I dont think it's more then 5 hp. I would like to find solid dyno testing on this other then the butt dyno lol
