Unhappy 05 STi HID going out after 8 months?

hey guys i have the 05 sti and recently my right HID goes out and after a while, it goes back on. My car is only 8 months old and the bulb shouldn't have died already. I checked the wiring from the back, and everything is secure. Any ideas on this? Damaged wires? Faulty bulb? warranty covered? please help.

Did you clear your headlights? If so that is your problem, water is getting into them and affecting the ballast.
If you have not cleared the lights and they are 100% stock, take it to your dealer and they will take care of it under warranty.

Yep if you cleared the lights don't bother with the dealer, they'll see the lights are modded. What you need to do is remove the ballast and dry it out, then re-seal the light.

^^^^Yep. Had the same problem on my friend's STI. We took it back apart and dried everything then resealed the entire light and now all is well.
