all you need is some good EM, and a TBE. search and you can find some ppls dynos with just those 2 mods. some ppl have seen as high as 308whp. turbo and injectors you better be getting up to 400whp soon.

EcuTek reflash plus what you have there will get you there. No need for larger injectors or high pressure fuel pump until you get a bigger turbo. Also, 300whp on which dyno? Stage 2 should read over 300whp on a dynojet vs. just around 300whp or a little less on a Mustang.

most ppl will say that a good intake, EM, and catless TBE will get you 300whp.

my personal preferance for those three are:

- Invidia catless downpipe w/ catless race catback.
- K&N Typhoon shortram
- TurboXS UTEC

Whats wrong with the stock turbo? I want to keep it reliable. I really like the ESX
setup. GP moto now makes one close to it its a kit, mkes 420 at the crank, its $6000 also is GP motos chip good they tune it for you they said they do it very aggressive so it makes a lot of power.

If you think I should up grade the turbo whats a good one I just want to make some more over the stock turbo maybe 320chp or 350chp? Thanks

You should be almost there, no need for a new turbo just to get over 300whp.

TurboXS UTEC will get you over the mark.

It also depends if you are using 91 or 93 octane I have been told 300whp won't happen on 91 with the stock turbo

On 93 octane I get around 305 WHP with:

GT Spec header
Turboback
UTEC
Tuning (being the key element)

The only problem with a stock turbo is it's size. Being that the 2.5l block has pretty good torque, and that the gears are short due to your 6 speed, you will have a pretty responsive car on the bottom end even if you go with a larger turbo (especially if you are doing other mods such as tbe, uppip, dp, em). You may get to 300whp on the stocker, but you'll feel it all at the bottom to middle range. The power will drop off very quickly on the top end of the power range.

A larger turbo can give you a more consistant hp and torque curve through out the power band. 300whp is very easy to get on an STi. It's a lot more fun if it's 300whp & 300wtq all the way to redline. Then you don't have to worry about an M3 passing you on the freeway. Just my IMO.

my dad was going to get a M3 but the dealer had problems ordering it.
I talked to Paul at primitive he said the WRC's are 300whp and he said thats what there rally cars are. So I think around 300whp would be good.
If i put all the stuff on with a EM I will have around 370chp
right now it is stock at 300chp and 238whp...numbers from subiesport

238whp is being a bit conservative... i like to say 245-250whp.

and most people dont say 'chp' for crank hp.. they just say bhp (brake hp, same thing)
