Default E-MANAGE on a different Shortblock

What are some thoughts on there of a EMANAGE on an ECU that is on a shortblock of a different litre size than the stock ECU is mapped for. Does it really matter since I am messing with the TPS and Airflow and injector settings anyway. I will be using the optional MAP sensor also.

For example..

if my ecu was a OBD-I 1.8 would going to a 2.0 litre be better since they are similar in internal volume

or could I go with a 1.8 to 2.5 litre?

i don't really know too much about the emanage but it seems to have the tuning capabilities to do what your asking, if it was me though i would lean more towards a full stand alone unit like motec or aem

Supermoose ran the emanage on his 2.5 with a 1.8 ecu. It ran great, I drove it before buying the engine from him. Now I have the engine running on my 1.8 ecu. I got an emanage from another friend and need to tune it, mine doesn't run as well as it did in Supermoose's car yet, but it will.
