Talking Sube using a really good door locking "system" on the new age impreza

I went to work at PNE this morning, maybe because of too tired, I left my key in the car. Then I grab the tow truck that station at PNE which is CAA authorized roadside service to unlock it for me. He tried every single tools in his truck to try get it unlock, but with no luck. Then he called BCAA and some other tow truck drivers to see if any method can unlock it, no way, he spent over 30 minutes, and still can't get it unlock.

Lucky that my sister also worked at PNE, so I asked her to bring me the spare key to unlock it. Is that a really good locking system?

But now I'm also wondering, what if anyone lock the key inside with no way to get the spare key, what can we do??

By the way, last time the tow truck guy can unlocked Tindo's car in less than 30 sec., what the ...!

Fred

Fred, if I remember right.. I think we just have to call any dealer and get them to look up the key code (the one that's engraved on that little plate that came with your keys) and they will cut u a new key.

Yeah, that's about right.

Ditto what jackwei said -- it's frighteningly easy to break into our cars.

I had once seen that happen at the North Road DD service center when I took my car for service. They slided a long thin metal piece, with one end bended as a hook, through the edge of the window into the car and pull the lock to unlock. It only took about 10 sec.
