Default What is involved in installing JDM HID's for a 2005 STI???

Just as the title states....before I purchase a used set, what work is involved in doing the install?

If i had a 2006 wrx, which i dont, and i wanted to install 06 sti hid headlights, how much would it cost to get them??

If nobody responds, you should probably ask one of the many online Subaru vendors on here or your local Subie dealer.

so you would rather blind traffic, spends lots of $$$ and be a road hazard than "bake" your headlights? real responsible i know that there are a couple of members on here that will do them for a small fee.....check your regional forum to see if anyone has any experience doing it.

yes...and since in japan they drive on the other side of the road, theirs are angled to the left. which if you place them on a usdm will aim directly onto oncoming traffic. this is why most people will get the edm ones since they aim the right direction.

No, the USDM's don't "angle to the right" but the right side of the beam is slightly higher than the left side of the beam as soon as you cross over the hotspot.

The JDM's on the other hand are level on the right side of the beam, and then past the centerspot, the left side of the beam angles up at 30 degrees... so you would basically be sending full bright light into the eyes of all oncoming traffic.
