you fought
the good fight?

Default FS: 2002 WRX (IL) tastefully modded

Looking to see if there is interest in my car.

Basics:
2002 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon
Platinum Sliver Metallic
57k miles
267whp, 280ft/lbs
Located NW 'burbs IL

Interior/Accessories:
OEM Column-mount boost gauge
Defi Oil Temp/EGT/Fuel Pressure center mounted gauges
OEM Auto-dimming compass mirror
OEM Audio upgrade w/subwoofer
Clarion ProAudio DXZ945MP CD/MP3 player (touchscreen display)
Two sets of floor mats (cloth and rubber)
2x Sparco Torino racing seats (Blk)
Car cover

Exterior:
EDM bugeye projector headlights
Hella Twin SuperTone horns
STi front grille
body matched sideskirts
Subaru window rain guards
Rota Actions gunmetal 17" w/ Kumho MX 225/17/45 (plenty tread left)

Performance:
STi short shifter w/Kartboy bushings
STi engine/trans mounts
SPT wagon suspension kit
STi strut tops
STi rear lateral/trailing links w/swaybar links (the famous "pink bits")
STi swaybar bushings and 20mm swaybar
STi control arm bushings
Cusco Type II front lower suspension brace
Goodridge stainless brake lines
Subaru 4-pots (newer performance pads, rotors)
STi stainless clutch hose
VF-39 turbo (less than 5k miles)
USDM TMIC STi intercooler (less than 5k miles)
Invidia stainless catted dp (less than 5k miles)
Greddy EVO SP2 exhaust single tip (less than 5k miles - nice and quiet too)
STi "pink" injectors (less than 5k miles)
+1 step colder plugs (less than 5k miles)
Walbro fuel pump (less than 5k miles)
Samco inlet hose (less than 1k miles)
Turbo XS shorty intake
GPMoto ceramic coated headers/uppipe 1-piece
WRX 5-speed trans with Type-RA gearset (rebuilt with new synchros) (less than 7k miles)
Exedy sport clutch (less than 7k miles)
EcuTek dyno tuned reflash (installed)
Cobb AccessPort (uninstalled)

Extras:
Sport Edition Fox 5 wheels w/Nokian WR rubber (great winter wheels/tires)
Original perfectly working 5-speed (48k miles IIRC)
Original engine parts (i.e. turbo, TMIC, header, etc)
UK wagon front lip replica - not installed...does not fit perfectly but is painted. possibly have a fiberglass shop work it o fit.
Crappy old laptop computer with OBD-II cable to clear codes
There's probably more, but these are the major ones

Missing:
Original seats
Original wheels
Original brakes
There might be more, but these are the major ones

Areas of interest:
CEL for misfire - car runs and drives excellent. Same codes prior to modding...common problem. Can be turned off with Accessport
Airbag light - due to original seats w/ airbags replaced with Sparco seats w/o airbags...can use resistor to fix
Small rock chips (nothing major) on hood
1 fog light has crack...covered with rock blocker since...should be no issue
Light rattle underneath due to slight rubbing of headers

Reason for sale:
I'll be buying my first home soon and would like to get a more economical vehicle.

Closing:
The car is quick and I hate to part with it, but I think for the long run it's best to get a more economical car at this point in my life. My price is pretty firm due to all the extras included. Serious enquiries only please. Car will not be parted out, so don't ask!

$18,500 or will consider trades for:

Mazda 3, Scion TC, EP Civic Si, Acura RSX, Mini Cooper and possibly other newer, low mileage, economical vehicles plus possible cash

Feel free to send questions to my email address: shukes24@comcast.net

Thanks,
Nirmit

Mike, the Lude is my sister's car and it gets about the same MPG as my WRX. Insurance is about the same too. The Si is a car I wouldn't mind owning so I may think about your car...and here I thought I was bad going through so many cars over the last 5 yrs
