Haha, stupid noob. For anyone who doesnt know the precedent for mx's...just ask your local competitive auto-x'er if they think they are crap. Or visit tirerack.com and look at the reviews.

After expierence on MANY tires competitively myself...i can tell you personally that these tires will compete head to head with top tires in its class.

I seriously think any interested buyers should pay no attention to death in a can.

... - comments go both ways swine.

to let the other people know - i had my set of kumho ecsta spec:ECSTA MX 225/45R17 for 5000 miles, the wear went bad at that point. i wouldnt really recommend these tires to anyone who lives in a rainy environment. ok summer tire.

Also rated as one of the top rain tires to use in auto-x's as well(mumbles *noob* again under his breath). Seriously death, you must be one of those people that gets his shop to do all his work for him. Let me guess, you think fusions are better tires to dont you.

Again, go look at tire racks review, the people who test tires for a living.(Look at the tests tire rack did and personal reviews as well).

Death you have probably never driven a car competively in your life. You must have had some sort of CRAZY camber issue to wear out an mx in 5k miles. I went through 2 track days and numerous auto-x's with 10k miles and they still had a few laps left on my last set.

Anyways, whoever reads this thread...Death is posting here becuase he obviously didnt like my opinion of his rice mobile, take his opinion with a VERY LARGE grain of salt.

I had the Mx's for 17000 miles on my WRX with two track days under my belt and a ton of freeway driving between home and school. They were an awesome track tire and the wear was not bad at all for the performance. I live in Oregon where it rains like hell every year and the tires performed excellent in the rain. These tires give you high performance without the drawback of easily losing traction when it gets wet.
