My friends had a pretty crappy apartment that they lived in and we used to play darts on a cork dart board in their kitchen. The wall was all banged up but they didn't care. I got a new set of Hibben throwning knives for my birthday and I wanted to test them out, but it was too cold (march) to do this outside so I asked if I could throw them at the dart board, and they said "sure why not". So I'm standing about 15 or 20 feet away and throwing them lightly. Most of them are sticking, or falling straight to the floor. I start getting more confident and throw a little harder... still doing good! I'm an ace at this knife throwing thing! So I chuck one pretty hard and the handle of the blade hits just perfect and bouces straight back at me!!! Out of instinct, I reach out to block the thing flying at my chest, and the knife sticks perfectly in to my hand, standing straight up. I bled for a few hours, but did not go to the ER because I didn't want to have to admit to being so dumb as to throwing knives indoors.

I did this once in a snow filled mall parking lot, but the other car's door opened

Yep, I managed to sit in someone else's '89 black Ford Taurus. Mine was midnight blue, but it was late, and snowing hard. I proceeded to lock their door, and find mine.

in woods class in High School: we were fixing the track & field storage box and I found a blank used for the starter pistols at the bottom. We took it in the laquer room (pretty much sound proof w/ the fan in there) and decided to hit it with a hammer. It blew up and the shrapnel went into my leg, and I bled everywhere. I told the teacher a woodchip flew off the jointer and hit me ! Poor guy checked the machine out head to toe and ordered a new blade for it. I told him the truth the next year. No stiches, but I did get sent home and the nurse-neighbor sutured me up.

Although my examples here would lead you to think otherwise, I am quite responsible and think I make good decisions!

This happened to my Grandpa, but since his keys didn't work, he looked down and used the ones sitting on the floormat (farmtown IL). He drives home and tells my Grandma the odd story, she looks outside and says "THAT ISN'T YOUR CAR!" He took the car back to the McDonald's, parked in the same spot and went in to see if anyone reported a stolen car. "No" was the response so he got the hell out of there!

i had some left over black powder, and dicided, being the pyro that i am that it'd be cool to light a loose, unconfined amount of it out on the driveway, i expected it to fizzle and spark and stuff, it did not, i lost my eyebrows, a good portion of my hair, i had 2nd degree burns on the lighter hand, and the lenses of my glasses were all pocked up. i probbaly shouldn'tve said boom, because it didn't go boom, it was actually a giant WOOSH! 2nd degree burns to the back and webbing of the hand is deffinatly the most painful thing i've ever experienced.

10 over crest flat out into oncoming cop.

He knew I was FLYING, but didn't have a reading on me so I didn't get a ticket. To be honest, 120 might have been on the high side, but whatever it was, it would have been enough to land me in jail, I think.

Edit: Not really a School Zone, that's just for effect.
