had to learn my braking and turn in points bettAr.

scraped the guardrail, inverting my fender, and scraping the rear quarter.

got to look down the cliff and piss my pants.

*also, the line of the car reflects throttle / brake input.

Just got out of speech class and we all had to meet with the instructor about grades. So the class is standing outside the office and Im talking to someone. Im wearing high heels and the floor is slippery, by the time I knew it I lost my balance and sliped and feel on my ass ) pretty damn hard). My shoes went flying and hit 2 guys pretty hard ( one on their chest the other on his leg) and then everyone in the class started laughing at me along with everyone else who was passing through the hall. I just kind of sat on the floor after it happen when the 2 guys i hit helped me up and put the my shoes back on me. I ended up spraining my ankle and hurting my back. I had a few bruises as well

Same exact thing, but with white phosphorous powder. Third degree burns on the back of my right hand, from fingernails to halfway up wrist. Needed skin grafts and ****. They took the skin from my leg, leaving a magazine-sized scab. Nothing like going back to class with half of your hair burned off, right hand bandaged, and limping.

Okay I know I suck at paint.

I was with my friend roller blading when we were younger and my neighbors driveway drops about 2 feet onto their next door neighbors yard. Me and my friend decided we were going to jump off of the driveway. I ended up tripping on a rock and landed straight on my left arm, I broke both bones ( the 90 degree angle is not extreme), it looked like I had a second elbow. Three operations later and 2 metal plates, my arm is as good as new with the exception of two enormous scars.

was out storm chasing in central illinois. Forecast for the day was derecheo with massive tornadic supercells on the leading edge.

We had gotten swallowed by the derecheo and trying to catch up to a very nice supercell moving at a good 60-70 mph. We were on the back country roads and I had found a decently paved cresting, winding road (a rarity in IL). My codriver/navigator said, "branch in road" i said, "see it" and we swerved around it. Then not 30 seconds late the road took a 90* left turn. I said, "didn't see that" codriver said nothing, instead of trying to make the turn I applied maximum braking to try and slow down as much as possible before over shooting the turn. Thankfully there was no ditch and we went flying into farmer bob's soybean field at 30-40mph I was afraid of getting stuck in the mud so I kept my foot on the gas threw the wheel left and we dorrifted 180* still mashing the go pedal I got us back on the road where we had left the "course."

we didn't say anything during the whole event a few miles down road I said, "okay maybe we'll slow it down from now on" then we busted up laughing about the look on the farmer's face when he sees a subaru shaped swath of destruction in his soybean field Really ****ing stupid of me to be driving faster than I could see glad there was no ditch and the only "damage" was fragments of soybean crops in all the seams of the car.

Lesson: do not attempt to carry pots of boiling hot contents down slippery, wooden stairs in your socks!

The story:

I was about 12 - my friend and I went to the playground, where they had one of those zip-line things. My friend thought it would be a good idea to push me as hard as he could. I go flying down the line, hit the end, probably do a complete 360 in the air and land on the ground HARD. I seriously couldn't breathe for about 30 secs (or it seemed that long, anyway). Meanwhile, my friend was laughing his ass off.

No permanent injuries, though.
