Default Tucson autoX results are up

They're up much sooner than last time, eh? ;]

So, does anyone else know Jason Boles? I met him, and his Impreza is real nice. He was at the last event too, but i don't know that i've seen him frequent the board here, or ever seen him up in Phoenix. Seems that the steelies he ran last time worked out better than the 18's and Kumho's this time.

990! That's an incredible point score! It appears that the Eddy bro's are taking over.

Well done guys!

Wow, that is very impresive. If I read it right, you were ranked 3rd in PAX time overall? Your brother rocks too. Keep killing them in Tucson.

Thanks, though i really think it's the car and the tires (those Azenis' kick butt). I also think i just managed to get the hang of the looseness of that Tucson surface sooner than everyone else, if you notice, Mark and Dave Rock made some good times in Time Only runs. ;]

I rode along in a friend's Celica GTS, and i have to say, that car handles really well. It was his first autoX, but the thing felt very controlled, very flat thru the turns. If i can just get my Scooby to handle like that, and still be able to take it off road, i'll be a happy camper. =]

I put an 18 mm rear sway bar on an otherwise stock suspension and I'm VERY happy with the way my car handles. My buddy Curt also put front and rear strut tower bars on his RS and said that they helped tighten it up a bit too while keeping the stock ride hight and spring rates (which work very well off road).

My $0.02

Keen, i have the 20mm rear bar already, and i just installed some AGX's (7 hours including fabricating a tool to disassemble the stock strut. my hands are still sore. ;]).

So far, the AGX's seem to have done what i was hoping: keep the body roll under control. The sway bar helped a ton, but the new struts seem to keep everything from flopping around under hard cornering. I think the rear strut bar is next in line. =]

I also want to keep the stock ride height, it love not having to worrk about bumps too much.
