Default to anyone w/a wrx swap into their rs using rs tranny and lightened flywheel:

i have a 2000 rs with 02 wrx swap, using the rs tranny. i have an act clutch and act streetlite (13.8lbs or whatever), and i get lots of misfires. i know this is normal for the wrx motor, but how often are you guys getting misfires (like, flashing cel's, not solids)? mine does it at least once every other day or every day sometimes. when it does flash the motor sputters and stuff, and i'm not sure if this is because of the flywheel or some other issue i'm having. i'm wondering if because the combo of the flywheel with the shorter gearing of the rs tranny vs. wrx tranny is really bad for the motor...?

It's not the flywheel or the Tranny gearing.

You are actually getting misfires. Check your wiring, plugs, coilpacks, and look for stray grounds. Misfires can be very bad on an engine. Try to get this fixed right away.

When someone with a lightened flywheel gets a misfire code it's because the ECU can't tell the difference between a real misfire and the larger deacceleration between fires caused by a light flywheel.
