Default P2093 & P2089 code pulled, need input

So i had these codes pulled by the dealership...they told me to get blah blah replaced, etc. did a search on here and didnt come up with much....heres wut the DTCs mean:
P2089 : OCV Solenoid Valve Signal A Circuit Short (Bank 1)

P2093 : OCV Solenoid Valve Signal A Circuit Short (Bank 2)

anyone have a resolution for this?? dealership says that since i was reflashed with COBB it will not be covered under warranty...one of the threads in my saerch mentioned something about a loose ground point somewhere...any input would be greatly appreciated...thanks

I'm having the same problem as well. It started coming in after I put on the Perrin BigMaf intake, i think. I don't see any loose wires.

I got my problem fixed. I should mention this is on my 04 STI. Accompanying the CELs, I was also having a rough idle. A friend who works at a shop looked up the codes and emailed me a TSB that may fix my problem. I later found it on Scoobymods as well: http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5782

I removed the filters from the union bolts on the OCV and after an oil change, the CELs went away. Also, it turns out my AVCS wasn't working and that fixed the problem there, too.

Sorry if I'm sort of bringing this back from the dead, but I just wanted to post this info for anyone that is still having this problem

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ighlight=P2093

I was throwing these codes, and it WAS caused by the ground on the IM on the driver side, I was having rough idle, and smelling gas, but thats a different issue =/

CN: If you have these codes, check your grounds!
