Default Need ideas of why car wont start

So I got my used 04 AP in the mail today, and I deleted the Stg2 91 oct map that was on there and installed the Stg1 93 oct map from the CD the guy gave me. I went and flashed it to the car, everything looked good, fans cycled, CEL flashed, and the AP menus looked correct. When it was done, I hit OK and got everything disconnected, and the car doesnt start. Just cranking. I pulled codes, and I got "Tumble valve sensor 1 & 2" or something, never seen those before. Reset ECU, car starts, but tach doesnt work, idles terrible, smells bad, loads of CELs, all that. Turn it off, won't start again, it only starts and runs bad when I reset ECU. Tried loading realtime Stg1 93, reflashing basemap with Stg1 93, same result. Now I'm worried, so I unmarry the AP, and the car fires right up, seems to be fine. What the hell is going on? It's the right AP for the car, it says 04 when I plug into the wall. Mods are uppipe, 3rd cat eliminator, and Stromung muffler, car ran like a champ before, no CELs. Any ideas of whats up? Im no tuner, but Im moderately computer literate. Im stumped.

I would try different maps. Try DL'ing the most recent ones from the net. Also try to place them in a different "slot" on the ap. This happened to me once where my car ran like poo and i threw 12 different DTC's. When i reflashed it went away.

Send it to Cobb for them to check it out? Even if it costs, it's cheaper than a new ECU.

Maybe it is the new maps, Ill try playing around with that tonight. Is there any other reason that my ECU could have not taken the flash correctly or something? The guy I bought it from had no problems, and he packed it really well so I dont think its damaged. Sending it in will be my last resort.

Well I reloaded the maps from the website, reflashed again tonight and it seems like it works. The car feels smoother at part throttle, didnt have a chance to really get much past 1st. So apparently thats it, make sure you have the right maps or it might seem like its right but its not!
