Default Weird timing...my car has vtec...seriously..

Hey guys,
I was out tuning my pump gas map cause it seemed kind of "flat" in the midrange. Well, it is. The boost is great, 20psi from about 4500 on, solid 10.8:1 AFR's, no knock, EGT's are fine. But you can literally feel "VTEC" in the midrange. From 4500-5500ish the timing dips down into the "+6" range, it even dips down as low as 3 degrees. My timing map is fine and in this range teh lowest it should dip to is around 16. What is causing this??? I will post maps later but my llaptop battery is dead.

do you have any ignition timing temperature corrections enabled/configured?

it is UTEC and it is the latest version. I am not using the temperature correction currently. I have everything set at 0

anybody? I can't seem to find out what's going on. I put the TXS base map back in and it does the same thing. the IGN Timing collum will dip to 5ish-10ish degrees from 3800-5500 rpm and the modded ignition collumn will be 15-17. This is weird stuff and it's driving me insane.

can we get a log?

I'll post a log when I get home if I can get her up and running. My laptop doesn't have a battery or a way to get the logs to my desktop. I r out of disks.

The ECU timing is very low and the UTEC timing is still fairly low. I read other logs and see people running 18-20+ degrees in the same area mine is running 8....(on the ECU portion). I'm just lost.

Past knock episodes. Add fuel and/or reduce timing in those areas. Reset the ecu.
