Anyone had any experience with the stock struts with the Pro Kit springs? Ride quallity over bumps at low speeds with stock struts vs. Koni, Ohlin, STI, KYB GR2s.....other options? I'm not having the easiest time reseaching what my best combo will be.
If the ride is decent and the springs won't tax the stock struts too badly I'de rather save the money. On the other hand I only want to do this once for at least the next few years so I don't want to regret not going with another option if it is really that much better. Please give me your insight as I'm sure a lot of you have much more experience than I do. I want a comfortable every day ride with reduced body roll enhanced looks. I already have a White Line rear sway bar installed. Thank you so much in advance for the advise Dan P

I certainly don't have more experience than you do, but this guy probably does:
http://www.spdusa.com/chassis.htm http://www.spdusa.com/new_page_9.htm And his relevant comment about the Eibachs: "The Eibach Pro-Kit and Prodrive spring kits are designed to run on the stock struts and will lower the car about 30mm. The Prodrive is a more neutral handling car, while the Eibach have a softer ride quality. Your choice, either way is good with the stock shocks." - Fromage |
