Default Replacing Cam Caps - Is it Possible?

I bought a set of dissassembled heads that are complete except for the cam caps. I have heard it is essential that the caps are matched to the head.

What would it entail to get a new set and have them matched to the heads?

Thanks
Brad

your should probably post this in the engine forum but..... i think it is possible but you will have to get the caps and have them cut and line bored. i think it would be similar to line boring the main line in the block. if money is no object....im sure someone could do it.

Its not that money wouldn't be an object but more that they would have to go to the machine shop anyway for some mill work to open up a cooling port or two. I figured while they were there . . .
